A very short drive south from Kerpen is Nurburg. The home of the Nordschleife and the Nurburgring F1 and MotoGP track. We had to visit them!

Near the entrance of the GP circuit was the statue of a person famous in Greece as well: Volfgang Von Trips!

These signs have the names of all those who won in the Nordschleife, on bike or car.

There was a racing school with Zakspeeds running slowly in the circuit, but even so, their sound was fabulous!

Jaguar had a few cars for demo driving. No, we didn't ask for a ride, but we later saw them travelling on the nearby roads at a good pace!

Of course we had to enjoy the Nordschleife! In fact we drove the Miata in it, well worth the 14 Euros for one lap! We took a million pics and a big big video of the lap we did!

That cafe was the best place to be! Not because of its pasta or coffee (which were not so good) but because of the... view! People were taking pics of everything, and so we did!

Fast bikes, fast ladies, everyone enjoys the track ride!

This orange Donkenfoort was a real showstopper! Parked besides our Miata it... looked even slower than it!

Its owner was never tired to go yet one more lap! He was complete in Nomex, rollcage, fullface helmet.

The track outline, just to get an idea... And the terms of use... Reasonable.

The entrance to the track. Oh! And the TAXI! A BMW 540i (or was it an M5?!) no less!!!!!! Rumor has it that the taxi does the lap in 9 min flat!
Back to the start of the trip

A few more... Porsches!
