When the designers are in the mood for fun!

Maggiora

Sports imaging and high performance are the characteristics that emerge in the Grama 2, proposed by Maggiora. The basic Punto style has remained, but the widened track, rear spoiler, dedicated bumpers, redesigned rear wings and sports seats provide a frame for racy and refined mechanicals borrowed from the Dedra 2.0 Turbo Integrale. For the record, in Turinese dialect, "grama" means "bad"!

Boneschi

From the Punto to the Doubloon: Boneschi has transformed the compact two-volume from Turin into a spry and almost futuristic pick-up with twin rear axles which tackle the theme of versatility in an undeniably young key. Bodywork has been lengthened and strengthened and a box form skillfully inserted into the outline of the flank. Shifting the fuel tank rearwards, it became possible to insert two "vis-a-vis" seats at the back.

Giannini

With the Punto 4X4 T.L. (Tempo Libero), Giannini have tackled the theme of the all-terrain vehicle, availing themselves of the contribution of Steyr-Puch for development of the mechanicals. Accessories such as bull-bars, roof-rack and bump-strips have been added externally; a "top-of-the-range" choice was made for the cabin finish.

Nicola Crea - Poli Model

Besides the Puntos interpreted by the carrozzieri, on show in a special display area, the Turinese company Poli Model and designer Nicola Crea are proposing another sports elaboration of the two volume Fiat, realised on the base of a Punto Giannini. After experience as a designer in the Pininfarina, I.D.E.A. Institute, Fiat and Lancia style centres, Nicola Crea now does consultancy work in product development for the automotive and nautical sectors. Poli Model, specialised in the construction of models and prototypes, has for years collaborated with the style centres of the Turin area.
