Installing a TT nitro front brake to the KP09.


This is the kit. Part number: PD6591.


This is it, installed on the KP front fork. The wheel is also from a TTn, so the match is perfect!

At first I installed the brake with a Savox SH01256 micro servo, for which I had to cut a small piece of carbon, so it coud be contained in the bigger hole on the frame.
Unfortunately the servo broke its gears very quickly, and I had to replace it with what I had in hand: A Hextronik D-MG16 (with metal gears, 2.9kg, 0.08sec, 29x11.2x29mm). With either servo, the braking action was very good. Hopefully, the D-MG will hold a bit longer!!!
