Day 2: August 5, 2007.
Ioannina to Kotor
Part Two.
After Fier, nearly halfway through Albania, suddenly the road becomes almost an Autobahn! So, we march on and the next stop is at Dures, by the sea. Here we have our only sad thing on the whole trip: A missing PMR from Stelios' tankbag, while we were resting at a local shop.
Near Skodra we stopped for some water and a cigarette... It's late afternoon and we're very close to the border with Montenegro.
After the river crossing on this ancient bridge, it's the border.
Approaching Bar, we saw the nearbu mountain on fire... In fact, most of the Dalmatian coast was on fire the previous week.
We stopped for coffee at the port of Bar and some locals wanted to have pics of their kids taken in front of our bikes. Dimitris also took the chance to have his pretty face in those pics too!
The road to Kotor was full of twisties with good asphalt and...
... a lot of traffic near the beach-cities...
Later that night saw us all walk in Kotor old town and find a very nice -and nicely priced- restaurant!
