here the boat that took us from Rafina port, reaches the port of Tinos...
On the top of the city, right in the middle of the pic, you can see the famous church of Panagia Megalochari.
The trip is roughly 4 hrs, with a regular ferry. If you take the faster Seajets it takes about 95 minutes only.
Right from the port, starts the road that leads to the church.
It's car-free road, so you can easily walk and not be bothered with traffic.
Notice the two guys on the left of the pic... Wonder what they are doing?!!!! ;-)
You will find every kind of local art in these streets... And of course lots of vows to the church.
It's known world wide that this church has a holy picture of Panagia Megalochari, that is miraculous.
