On the workbench...

Disassembly started...

After 35 or so tanks of gas, the clutch started slipping. My co-drivers noticed it during the 4th hour of the last race. The car has seen hard bashing so far, and a couple of races.

The flysheel removed... All that dirt lived inside the housing. Yesterday it was mud!
To go this far, I had to get me two very useful tools: The piston stopper (in orange, to match the car!) and a flywheel puller (HPI p/n: Z965).

Both servos removed from radiobox...

Parts ready to be washed...

A few more! This is the underside of the tank! Whew...

A few notes, so far: After washing all the plastic and aluminum parts, I dried them and inspected them:
The remaining front a-arm is actually almost new.
The rear a-arms are both broken at the shock holding oval hole.
The clutch needs replacing.
I must remove the broken bolt from the clutchbell.
I must clean the fuel tank.
I must test the steering servo, because at the mud race it seemed like it was not turning fully to the right.
I must somehow unbolt the left rear wheel from the a-arm! I can't! Someone snugged it too hard!!!!!!!

A few more findings during assembly...
