It's about 7.30pm, Saturday evening, when we set foot on the island... The sun is close to setting down into the sea...
As you will see furthermore... Samos is an extremely green island. And... despite the camera's and my own capabilities in taking pics, you can see the various green shades quite clearly.
What is saddening however, is that somehow, some of these beauties have been burned. This one is on the north coast of the island, and was a recent one, March 2000, unfortunately.
A closer look, and we proceed, if we want to catch some nice pics of the sunset!
Lets forget the sad moments for a while and enjoy a peaceful sunset!
and... the first night in Pithagorio, ended of course at a classic, trendy, traditional (you name it!) tavern, with good music, good friends, fresh fish and Ouzo, of course! Cheers!
